Fresh Organic Juicing vs. Store Bought Juice

Fresh Organic Juicing vs. Store Bought Juice

Fresh juice has life

There's nothing like fresh juice! it is loaded with concentrated nutrition, which is a great way to enjoy key nutrients as part of a balanced diet.

Much of the vitamins and enzymes found in produce are in the juice of raw fruits and vegetables.

However, we would need to eat approximately 11 apples, 2 pounds of carrots or 8 pounds of spinach in order to get the same amount of nutrients in one 16 oz glass of juice. This highly concentrated juice, loaded with vitamins, minerals, and enzymes, is a fresh, flavorful way to enjoy your produce.

Hi, we're Sheri and Gina, the dynamic duo behind Yonder. As passionate health enthusiasts, we are dedicated to promoting natural wellness rooted in our faith. We believe that our bodies are beautifully designed by God, and by nurturing them with the best nature has to offer, we can honor His creation. We created Yonder to provide top-quality collagen products that support vibrant, youthful living. Our mission is to help others achieve radiant health from the inside out.

Like I mentioned, it's filled with enzymes, minerals, and antioxidants. Unlike store bought bottled juices, which are pasteurized. This means they are heated and processed, which can reduce the vitamins and minerals. Therefore, juicing at home is really the better, fresher option.

When juicing, make sure to buy organic produce!

Organic farming minimizes toxins within the soil. They protect the soil from chemicals and pesticides. This is the way to go! Why would you want to drink "living" juice grown in toxic soil, and sprayed with pesticides?

I know what you are going to say, "but buying organic is just so expensive!" Yes, it can be, but it doesn't have to break the bank. These days, there are a lot more local organic farmers. In fact, most will deliver to your home and/or have stands to buy from. I go to South Coast Farms in my local area. Buying straight from farms or farmer's markets, is usually the best deal. And besides that, you will be supporting your local farmers. It's a win-win!!

Juicing

Juicing daily is best however I try to juice 2 to 3 times a week. I wish I could say that I just love it! Well, I mean I love the juice, it's the process that I dread. However, juicers have come a long way and I feel the fresh result is worth the "dread!" There are a lot of great juicers out there, so do you your research before buying. Find one with a strong motor, but is easy to clean.

I typically juice GREENS with some fruit (apples and lemons which are more alkaline). Here is an example of a juice that I make: kale, parsley, celery, cucumber, lemon, apple, ginger root, turmeric root. The ingredients in the photo makes approx. four 8 oz. glasses.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is fresh juicing healthy?

Fresh juice is a concentrated, less-processed way to enjoy the vitamins, minerals, and enzymes in raw produce as part of a balanced diet. Making it at home means no added sugar and none of the heat processing that store-bought pasteurized juices go through.

Is fresh homemade juice better than store-bought juice?

Homemade juice is fresher because store-bought bottled juices are pasteurized, meaning they are heated and processed in a way that can reduce vitamins and minerals. Juicing at home lets you keep it fresh, use organic produce, and skip the added sugar found in many bottled options.

Can you add collagen to fresh juice?

Yes, flavorless collagen stirs easily into a fresh green juice or smoothie without changing the taste. It is a simple way to fold 10 to 20g of collagen per one to two scoops into a routine you already enjoy, supporting skin, hair, nails, joint, bone, and gut health as part of a daily routine.
